Hungary closes border crossings

These were the scenes at Hungary’s border with Serbia on Tuesday (September 15) as new measures to stop the flow of migrants and refugees came into force. Budapest closed two of seven border crossings, pushing migrants to find other ways into the EU. New rules came into force on Tuesday that will see migrants sent back if they seek asylum and arrested if they breach the border fence.
