This video displayed the vorticity of estimated fluid motion obtained by wavelet-based optic flow, at full resolution. The input sequence consists in 3072 experimental PIV images of 1024x1024 pixel representing the classical case of cylinder wake at Reynolds=3900. Kelvin-Helmholtz and von Karman instabilities are visible.
