Every dog has its day - and the canine star of The Artist, Uggie, is taking full advantage of his. The pup was the recipient of the first annual Golden Collar award for best performance by a pooch in a motion picture. Before the ceremony in Los Angeles, Uggie joined a few of his co-stars from The Artist on the red carpet. His colleagues had only good things to say about him. A scooter-riding dog showed off his skills, while 'skateboarding' dog 'Tilman' stayed a little more stationary, barking at the cameras from a luggage trolley. The biggest surprise came during the awards show - Martin Scorsese appeared in a pre-taped segment.
