Afghan militants set fire to Nato fuel tankers

<p> Afghan militants have torched a Nato convoy of fuel tankers in Behsud district in eastern Afghanistan. </p><p> There were 16 fuel tankers in the convoy, 14 of them have been burned and two others have escaped, an official said. </p><p> The convoy attack started when a group of gunmen rushed on the trucks in Behsud district of Nangarhar province - the same area on the edge of Jalalabad city where a group of would-be suicide bombers tried to storm a Nato base on Saturday. </p><p> There has been a series of attacks against Nato in recent days. </p><p> In two different incidents on Sunday, a series of bomb blasts killed a Nato service member and two civilians. </p><p> While three troops serving with the Nato-led force in Afghanistan were killed in a clash with insurgents in the east of the country, the coalition said, one of the worst daily tolls in a month. </p>
