<p> From action comedy to a Shakespeare adaption, Scottish film star Gerard Butler has revealed his excitement at upcoming film, Coriolanus. </p><p> It's a brilliant adaption, the 300 star said. </p><p> The screenplay was written by John Logan who wrote Aviator and Gladiator, and marks the directorial debut of Oscar nominee Ralph Fiennes. </p><p> Butler, 40, said: Ralph Fiennes who is the nicest guy and a genius, and so passioante about this project and he's directing it. </p><p> He's also playing Coriolanus so for me it's jumping in and playing his arch enemy Tullus Aufidius, he now addresses me as his Tullus Aufidius. </p><p> Shooting has only just begun on the tragedy which is expected to open next year. </p>
