By removing several internal walls and inserting a single piece of birch plywood furniture spanning the length of the apartment, HEIMAT created an open plan kitchen, dining and living space. A large birch ply kitchen unit takes up a full wall, extending into a dining nook at one end, with a central kitchen island serving as the hub of the open plan home.
