Jo Jo Gunne — Bite Down Hard 1973 (USA, Hard-Blues Rock) Jo Jo Gunne toured extensively, receiving a warm reception everywhere, but the band's popularity was more of a cult following, and the atmosphere of its concerts couldn't compensate for the inherent limitations of its musical formula. Tired of life on the road, Mark Andes parted ways with Jo Jo Gunne in June 1972. In November of that year, he was replaced by bassist Jimmie Randall (b. February 14, 1949, Dallas), who had previously played in club bands in Texas and Nevada. This lineup released the band's second album, Bite Down Hard, in March 1973.
