UP: empty coal westbound

8:51 AM Our first train is an empty coal train with two AC44CWs for power. Judging from the lead unit's Nathan P3 horn, my guess is that this is an ex-Southern Pacific unit. This guy wasted absolutely no time getting through here. He went nuts with his horn, which was awesome. Note the pitch-shift as the sound of the horn bounces off the overpass walls...What an incredible sound! These aluminum gondolas have MMGX reporting marks. Recorded 7.30.2009
