Sabah polls: 85 reports on minor election offences lodged, says state police chief

Sabah police have received 85 reports of minor election offences, with 53 investigation papers opened as of Monday (Nov 24). Speaking after casting his vote at Kota Kinabalu Police Station in Kepayan, Sabah Police Commissioner Datuk Jauteh Dikun said the offences, including social media abuse and vandalism, have not affected the campaign or election process. He added that 7,288 permits have been issued for campaign activities so far, with no related complaints received.
