Prime Minister and Finance Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim ended his Budget 2026 speech in the Dewan Rakyat on Friday (Oct 10) with a shout-out to the Global Sumud Flotilla activists for their struggle in sending aid to Gaza. Anwar also called on Malaysians to support the peace plan in Gaza and the Middle East where the first phase of the plan is being implemented by Hamas and Israel to bring each other hostages and war prisoners back to their countries.
