Govt allocates RM40mil for tube well maintenance in rural Sabah, Sarawak schools

The government has allocated RM40mil to the Department of Irrigation and Drainage (DID) for a maintenance project for 302 tube well systems in rural schools across Sabah and Sarawak this year. During a Dewan Rakyat session on Wednesday (March 5), Deputy Education Minister Wong Kah Woh also announced that 16 schools have been approved to modify their project scope to include atmospheric water generator (AWG) technology.
