Over 2 million train tickets discounted in rail sale

More than two million train tickets will be on offer next week as part of a rail sale, the Department for Transport has announced. Cheaper Advance and Off-Peak tickets will be available from 14 to 20 January, with discounts of up to 50%. Transport minister Lord Hendy of Richmond Hill said the sale offers “exceptionally cheap rates” and benefits both passengers and the economy. Report by Covellm.
