Malaysia has no immediate plans to repatriate around 50 Malaysians, including students, currently in Syria, says Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan. Speaking at a press conference on Wednesday (Dec 18), Mohamad, who is popularly known as Tok Mat, assured that the situation in Syria remains peaceful and that Malaysia's Honorary Consul maintains daily communication with the students and their college authorities to ensure their safety and well-being.
