Authorities detected 55 cases of drones used to smuggle drugs into detention centers this year, according to Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail. During a parliamentary question and answer session on Tuesday (Nov 26), he mentioned that personnel were assigned to shoot down drones entering the premises. Saifuddin also noted that drug smuggling persists in detention centers due to ongoing demand from detainees.
