Speaker: Suspended MPs prohibited from entering Dewan Rakyat, including public gallery

Any Member of Parliament (MP) ordered to leave the Dewan Rakyat must not only exit the chamber but is also barred from sitting in the public gallery, stated Tan Sri Johari Abdul. The Dewan Rakyat Speaker issued this ruling on Monday (Oct 18) after Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan (Kota Baru-PN) raised concerns, arguing that suspended Machang MP Wan Ahmad Fayhsal Wan Ahmad Kamal should still be permitted access to the public gallery.
