The proposed amendments to the National Film Development Corporation Malaysia (Finas) Act will hopefully chart a new course for the local film industry, says Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil. Speaking to reporters after attending the Film Directors Association Malaysia (FDAM) Convention on Saturday (July 6), Fahmi noted however that that the amendments are not ready to be brought to Parliament yet.
