Tropical Storm Nicole sees transformers explode in Miami as wind and rain batters the city

Tropical Storm Nicole has made landfall in Miami, Florida, bringing high-speed winds and hammering rain - which saw at least one transformer blow up. Two clips show an explosion purported to be a local transformer, at Flamingo Point, as it blows up. One clip shows the incident from a distance, whereas the second clip, shows a close-up view with filmers and bystanders audibly in shock. Tropical Storm Nicole is set to become a hurricane as the weather system smashes the Bahamas and the eastern coast of Florida. Three to five inches of rain is expected as the soon-to-be 75mph hurricane makes its way across Florida and into Georgia.
