Thailand is close to introducing chemical castration to tackle sex crime. The bill will give offenders the right to choose the procedure in return for a reduced prison sentence. 145 senators approved the bill, which the lower house of Thailand passed. If the bill gets approved, Thailand will join a small group of countries that use chemical castration.
