Punjab: Man held for sacrilege bid at Kali Mata temple in Patiala

A man was arrested for allegedly attempting sacrilege at the Kali Devi temple in Patiala on Monday, police said. In a video which surfaced on social media, the man is seen climbing the enclosure of the temple and reaching the place where the idol of the goddess is placed. A priest and other devotees present at the site caught hold of the accused before handing him over to the police.
