The Samajwadi Party on Sunday wrote to the Election Commission alleging that Home Minister Amit Shah breached Covid-19 protocols during his door-to-door campaign in Kairana on Saturday. In another story, India recorded as many as 3,06,064 new Covid-19 cases on Monday, 8.2 per cent lower than the previous day, taking the country's active caseload to 22,49,335.
