PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang is committed to avoiding three cornered fights in the next general election. This is why he’s still lobbying for cooperation between Muafakat Nasional and Perikatan Nasional. Speaking to reporters today, Hadi claimed that a majority of Umno supreme council members have agreed to cooperate with Perikatan Nasional. Responding to Hadi’s claim, Umno information chief Shahril Hamdan said PAS should refrain from making comments on behalf of Umno.
