The 23-year-old from Chennai is an engineer and has taken part in the 2014 and 2018 Asian Games but made headlines after winning a bronze medal at the 2020 Sailing World Cup in Miami, USA. Nethra will participate in the Laser Radial Class at Tokyo 2020. She trains at the Canary Islands in Spain.
