Johannesburg hit by unrest and looting

Violent protests that started in KwaZulu-Natal have reached the Johannesburg CBD. Sections of the M2 Highway are closed after protesters blocked the road with burning tyres and rocks. While in Jeppestown, several vehicles have been torched and shops have been broken into and looted. Protests earlier in the week calling for the release of former president Jacob Zuma have descended into acts of criminality and violence. Courtesy #DStv403
