Amid the ongoing tussle over the extension of Bengal Chief Secretary Alapan Bandyopadhyay's tenure, Now CM Mamata Banerjee has appointed Alapan Bandyopadhyay as the new chief advisor to the chief minister. Today the deadline to join in Delhi has ended but Bengal Chief Secretary did not reach Delhi. Reacting to the development, a miffed Mamata Banerjee termed the decision as autocratic. Watch video
