Maharashtra reports 25,681 new Covid-19 cases, 70 deaths

Maharashtra reported more than 25,000 new Covid-19 cases for the second consecutive day on Friday. The state reported 25,681 new cases, the second highest single-day count in 2021. This was slightly lower than the figure on Thursday when Maharashtra reported 25,853 new Covid-19 cases. Apart from the new cases, the state also reported 70 Covid-related deaths in the past 24 hours.
