Peruvian athletes and para-athletes prepare for Tokyo Olympic Nearly 30 Peruvian athletes and para-athletes (athletes with disabilities) can be found continuously training in various athletic facilities in Lima. These were initially constructed for the Pan-American (and Para-Pan-American) Games in Lima in 2019, and now are used to fulfill the goal of reaching the Tokyo Olympics this year.
