According to vedic texts, Lord Krishna was born 5000 years ago. After his death his heart was not cremated, instead it was kept in a temple in Puri. Today also krishna's heart is kept properly inside the idol of Jagganath in the Jagganath Temple, Puri, India . During Krishna's funeral his whole body caught fire, Except his heart!
