Budget 2021 has passed the policy stage in the Dewan Rakyat with a voice vote. The opposition decided not to reveal its numbers in the Dewan Rakyat after a group of Umno MPs decided not to derail the Budget 2021 during the first of a series of votes. The budget would now move to the committee stage, where there would be more debates and votes.
