We follow Julie Gordon, a PhD student at MONARIS laboratory and synchrotron SOLEIL, during a visit to Musée des arts et métiers. It is an opportunity for her to seek, among the painted metal objects exhibited at the Museum, those which are likely to be interesting subjects of study for her thesis. We remind you that the purpose of this thesis is to understand the alteration of these objects, in order to improve their preservation.
