Covid-19: Health Ministry seeks UNHCR’s assistance to find tabligh attendees

Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah on Saturday said the ministry will be working together with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and other non-governmental organisations to contact attendees of the religious gathering at Masjid Jamek Sri Petaling in Kuala Lumpur, to be tested for Covid-19. He urged all participants to come forward as it was evident that more than half of new positive cases are from the group.
