Frost damages some crops in Baguio and Benguet

As temperature hits a low of 11.5 degrees Celsius in Baguio City, vegetable farms are affected by frost. Some farmers blame this for the spike in prices of vegetables in markets, with some increasing by as much as four hundred percent. The provincial government of Benguet insists that only five percent of harvested crops in the province is affected by frost, so supply and prices should not be affected.
