Occurred on July 16, 2019 / Saint Simons Island, Georgia, USA Info from Licensor: An estimated 25 pilot whales washed ashore on Saint Simon's East Beach. Glynn County beachgoers teamed up to save whales. All but 3 whales made it back to see after beaching themselves again 500 meters up coastline.
