The Bill S04E02 The Three Wise Monkeys An armed robber hi-jacks a car and after a chase begins shooting at Yorkie, Ackland, and three specialist officers. One of the specialists returns fire in contravention of at least two guidelines narrowly missing Yorkie who floors him with a punch but is persuaded not to make an official complaint. Meanwhile, two officers from another station arrive at Sun Hill to transfer a prisoner. Tom Penny starts to suffer the psychological effects of his shooting in series 3. Also, Derek Conway arrives at Sun Hill.
