Pre-market block trading time in S. Korea shortened by 30 minutes starting Monday

South Korea's pre-market trading time is being shortened by 30 minutes from today. Korea Exchange will also shorten pre-market trading at the closing price of the previous day by 50 minutes. The bourse operator says off-hour block trading,... which aims to cut price fluctuations due to block deals,... will now take place between 8AM and 9AM. The revision will affect the benchmark KOSPI, the tech-heavy KOSDAQ and the tertiary KONEX. The change is aimed at reducing the possibility of unfair trading.
