Ubisoft Pledges €500,000 to Restoration of Notre Dame Cathedral Ubisoft has announced their support and solidarity for Notre Dame after a devastating fire tore through it on April 15. The gaming company has pledged a donation of €500,000 to aid in the reconstruction of the historic cathedral. They also announced that their game, Assassin’s Creed: Unity, will be available at no charge until April 25. Ubisoft, via statement 'Assassin’s Creed: Unity' is set in Paris during the French Revolution and features a detailed recreation of the iconic Notre Dame cathedral. Their digital version of the building was painstakingly created by level artist Caroline Miousse.
