The Tumkur seat in Karnataka has turned into yet another flashpoint in the Karnataka coalition government after former Prime Minister HD Devegowda announced that he will be contesting from the seat in the Lok Sabha elections. Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy has left it to the congress, to deal with their internal revolt stating that the JD(S) will be contesting in the 8 seats allotted them, no matter what happens.
