On the outskirts of the capital Moroni, a rebel suburb is turning a blind eye to Comoros' presidential election, in protest over a local man who was shot dead by military police during a policing operation that went wrong. Locals say they won't block the election from happening but that they are in mourning , but incumbent president Azali Assoumani says there's nothing more authorities can do.
