Lilybeth Marvel’s son Carlito spends all his time playing his favourite online game Rules of Survival at a local internet cafe in the Philippines. The teenager became addicted two years ago and sometimes engages in 48-hour marathon sessions playing the multiplayer battle game. The 37-year-old mother has made numerous attempts to tackle her son’s addiction, even pulling him out of school before going online herself to make a plea for help.
