Pakistani troops resorted to firing in the Poonch and Balakot sectors of Jammu and Kashmir late on Tuesday night, drawing a sharp response from Indian forces. Firing started at Balakot sector around 9:15pm on Tuesday and continued till 1:30am. In Poonch, firing started at 9pm and continued till 4am on Wednesday morning.
