Even as the Congress-led opposition has stepped up attack on External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj over the Lalit Modi visa row, NDA constituent Shiv Sena has come out in her support. An editorial in party mouthpiece Saamana has alleged that a dangerous game of targeting and destabilising the foreign ministry is being played, adding that there’s an attempt to demoralise the government. The Saamana editorial also urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to step in and probe who was making attempts to sully the image of External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj.
