4.1 magnitude earthquake detected in waters near southeastern port city

An earthquake was detected Sunday afternoon off the coast of Pohang,... in Korea's southeast, registering at magnitude 4-point-1. There have been no casualties reported, and at that magnitude, there's not likely to be much damage. According to the Korea Meteorological Agency, the quake occured at 12:53 PM around 50 kilomters away from Pohang... at a depth of 21 kilometers. It was followed about an hour later by a tremor of magnitude 2-point-5. Seismic activity in the area has risen in recent years. A quake in 2017 damaged hundreds of buildings and injured dozens of people.
