A stunning waterspout was spotted over Lake Zurich in Switzerland on August 26. In the video, taken by a local resident, a huge waterspout is seen spinning above Lake Zurich. “Despite its name, a waterspout is not filled with water from the ocean or lake,” according to National Geographic. “A waterspout descends from a cumulus cloud. It does not ‘spout’ from the water.”
