Underworld Don Chhota Rajan sentenced life imprisonment for the murder of journalist J Dey in 2011

The MCOCA court today convicted underworld Don Chhota Rajan for the murder of journalist J Dey in 2011. He has been sentenced to life imprisonment. Journalist Jigna Vora and Paulsen Joseph were acquitted in the case. Over and above the jail term a total fine of around 26 lakh Rupees has also been imposed on all accused including Rajan. A fine of 1 lakh Rs has been imposed on those convicted for murder. While a fine of 10 Lakh has been imposed on those convicted under MCOCA. Out of the fine 5 lakh Rs will be given to J Dey's family.
