A driver in the U.K. was banned from driving for 18 months after an incident with a Tesla Model S. Another driver on the M1 highway filmed Bhavesh Patel leaving the driver's seat empty. Telsa cars with autopilot give warnings that the self-driving mode is not fully autonomous and hands must still be on the wheel. What Patel did was grossly irresponsible and could have easily ended in tragedy.
