Kingfisher brand up for sale by banks to recover dues

UB-Group-promoted Kingfisher Airlines Ltd is set to lose its brand name Kingfisher and fly kingfisher as bankers have started selling trademarks in their bid to recover loans. Grant Thornton India audit firm valued the Kingfisher brand at Rs. 3,000 crore about five years ago.
