Two injured after plane bursts into flames in crash on motorway

Following the crash of a Cessna 310 aircraft on a busy California motorway, the two occupants of the plane had to be taken to hospital in a serious condition. The pilot tried to return to the airport shortly after take-off because of engine problems but instead came down between cars on the road.
