Four IED blast rocked Tinsukia district of Assam as the state celebrated 70th Independence Day. No casualties were reported in the blast. In Manipur, two medium-intensity IED blasts took place in Imphal West district. No casualties were reported in all cases. In Kashmir also a police station in the Nowhatta area of Srinagar was targetted by militants in which six police personals were injured.
