A heartwarming video has emerged of a good samaritan rescuing a frozen bird stuck to the ground on the shore of a river in Maribor, Slovenia. The footage, shot on January 25, shows a Common Cot lying on the shore of a lake, unable to move. Then, a man helps the bird by lifting it up from the frozen ground. ''While I was returning back from the gym on the Lent bank of Drava river in Maribor I stumbled on a black water bird Common Coot that has frozen to the ground,'' the rescuer later wrote online.
