In DVB Debate’s Education episode the studio asks “What’s missing from Burma’s education system?” Education in Burma’s is ranked amongst the worst in the world. Still based on a rote learning method that teaches through repetition, teachers have little opportunity to move outside the strict curriculum. And with a tiny proportion, state-funded schools do not have the funding, facilities or staff to provide any sort of extra curricular education.
