I wanted to make a small, strong, simple sander to use and i was able to build it basically for free. All i had to buy was the 1 sand paper. There are more complicated designs out there but i felt that the simplest design was the best. I will try to post plans and more pictures to my blog on how i built it and why i did what i did. I tried to design as much as i could but i was designing as i went along. And you can't innovate without making mistakes. I made plenty of mistakes but ended up with a sander that i'm happy with.
